Need huge help with these trades

Recommended Posts

12 Team League, .5 PPR

I am sitting at 5-5 and in 7th place. One spot out of a playoff position

So my team is:

QB: Tom Brady

WR: Steve Smith (CAR), Mario Manningham, Steve Breaston, Austin Collie, Robert Meachem, Lee Evans

RB: Ronnie Brown, Beanie Wells, Darren Sproles, Ladell Betts

TE: Tony Gonzalez

K: David Akers

DEF: Baltimore

Obviously Ronnie Brown is out.

I was just proposed the following trade:

I give:

Tom Brady

Beanie Wells

Lee Evans

I get:

Matt Ryan

Ryan Grant

Vincent Jackson

Also got proposed this trade:

I give:

Steve Smith

I get:

Joseph Addai

Do you guys think if I accept both these trades, I will be able to make up for losing Ronnie Brown and pushing into a playoff spot?

I think you give up Smith for Addai. It cost you less, you don't want to give up Brady in a pass happy offense Beanie Wells and Grant will cancel each other out. Jackson is better than Evans but I don't think Ryan will get you even close to the points Brady will get you. If you want to trade I would do the Smith for Addaii who know how Smith finishes out

I would do Smith for Addai.

I'd have no problem trading away Brady, but not for Matt Ryan. If you could get Big Ben (or Rivers) + a WR/RB upgrade for Brady, I'd do that. In EVERY league that I'm in, Big Ben is a backup to a top QB (Brady, Warner, Rodgers, etc). I just traded Jennings to get him in one league so I can now bench Matt Ryan.
