Last Minute Advice Needed

PPR League, with 10 pt. bonus over 100 yds. Also, return yardage is 1 pt. per 10 yds. AND I have poopy for WR's.

I currently have Knox against PHI in my WR/TE flex spot. Game is very close going into tonight's game.

Only options on waiver wire are:

K. Walter vs. TEN

All TEN WR's against HOU

E. Bennett vs PHI

G. Olson vs. PHI

I'm reaching, I know, but up by 40 with Knox going vs. McNabb and Forte.....I need as many points as possible to hopefully keep lead.

Who offers the best option for points....total points?

Thanks in advance!

Well.

Walter has been locked on something like 3 / 30 / 0 all season, but it would seem that if he's going to show up at all this year, it might be against the TEN pass defense. Olson is fairly reliable, and has been a red zone favorite in recent games ... but who knows which target Cutler will lock onto any given game? As a total wild card and certainly the "swing for the fences" play, you might look at K. Britt, he's certainly capable of a big play at any time.

Olson seems to me the "safest" bet of the bunch ... Britt the absolute "home run" play, and Walter falls somewhere in between the other two. All things considered, I'd likely lean towards using Olson.

Good luck.

Thanks Big John and ts! Honestly, this is one of those times where "I know" I was over-thinking things. I have always respected the two of you over the years, and I'm pretty sure this is the safest play.

My internal conversation kept arguing that CHI may keep Olson in to block more vs. PHI blitzes, etc.....but it's like I already knew.....and the info regarding PHI's weakness against the TE this season was valuable. I was actually trying to convince myself that if Knox got one decent long one and some return yardage (because I think PHI is gonna score quite often), that could be fine.

However, since some bozo dropped Olsen this week and he cleared waivers today, he is just sitting there.....time to scoop him up I guess!

Thanks guys!

Well, I screwed the pooch here....just went to grab Olsen and somebody snagged him. My own stupid fault, but I was trying to save a roster move (limited and cost a pretty penny to execute).

Oh well, we'll see what happens.....sigh!

 "Chaim Witz, you are an idiot!"

Up to you, but I'd still consider Walter over Knox ... really a jump ball I guess, but I can see Walter "breaking out" this week for maybe 4 / 55 / 0 instead of his usual ~30 yard game ... Knox has not done much of late unless he finds the EZ on a short pass, always a possibility I guess, but some of the early season shine seems to have worn off for him.

TS is right, I would roll with Walter here.

I'm a Bears homer. I can tell you they are trying to get Olsen more involved in the offense. The looks that were going to Knox earlier in the season are going to Olsen now. Just my two cents.
