PPIchamp
We got Rice vs. the #1 Pitt run D, at least he'll be at home. or McCoy vs. Was - 25th against the run, allowing 4.4 YPC. Scott vs. Cle - 29th, 4.6 YPC. Forsett @ StL - 28th, 4.7 YPC. Charles @ SD - 21st, 4.2 YPC. 1 PPR 10 rush or pass yds = 1 point 20 return yds = 1 point 10 point bonus at 100 pass or rush yards
splotchman
No way. As much as I like Forsett's matchup, you don't sit your studs.
PPIchamp
I like to stay with that philosophy myself, particulary after benching Colston week 2 @ Phi. (cost me $25), but I stuck with a "stud" last week, Barber, and his lost fumble negated that vast majority of the yardage points he'd gotten me and wound up being the lowest scoring RB of all 9 RB's on my team. Would anyone sit Barber vs. Oak for any of these guys?
irish
I'd start Rice for sure. Hell, as it is both Benson and Julius Jones might be back. Rice is a stud and should be started. http://forums.thehuddle.com/index.php?showtopic=309275

I don't consider Barber a stud. In my PPR league (with 1 PPR), Barber is ranked 23rd. That is an RB3 and NOT a stud. Screw what he did last year. Rice is ranked #3 in my PPR league. That is a stud. I'd play Rice over any of these guys.
PPIchamp
I can't argue with that, Barber's not a stud this year, he's 29th in points among RB's in my League, and Rice is 3rd in my League, too. Bad choice of terms on my part. Edited November 25, 2009 by PPIchamp
NeedThaWin
Just can't bench Rice. Period. IMHO Edited November 25, 2009 by NeedThaWin
