ts Posted November 25, 2009 Share Posted November 25, 2009 Assuming you'll never use Maroney, this deal is just "moving bodies" ... the Moats honeymoon in HOU seems to be over, so it appears he has zero value again ... and Parker won't start for you unless (and maybe not even if) Mendenhall goes down. Maroney is not sexy, but he's been a very reasonable RB3 for the last half-dozen games, and even if Morris comes back should continue to get work for NEP as the season winds down. Does Maroney help the team you are trading with? If so, and that team is in contention, why help him when this deal likely does not really help you. Meh ...
