Jak
I was offered D Williams for Wayne, think I should do it? My thinking was the colts may start to sit their starters down the strech and it will hurt Wayne's numbers.
ts
A lot more background info is needed before anything resembling solid advice can be offered. http://forums.thehuddle.com/index.php?showtopic=151550
Shorttynaz
Regardless of your leagues scoring, unless you're severely hurting for a RB I wouldn't do it. In PPR formats, Wayne is the #1 fantasy WR. I think the Colts learned their lesson a few years ago about coasting down the stretch (already securing home field advantage through the playoff's) and they got burnt playing a little rusty against the Steelers. I don't see them making this mistake again. While his numbers may fall off a little, I don't think they'll fall off enough to get rid of Wayne. Jak
A lot more background info is needed before anything resembling solid advice can be offered. http://forums.thehuddle.com/index.php?showtopic=151550 My WRs are Randy Moss, Calvin Johnson, Wayne, and Austin. RBs are Pierre Thomas, Donald Brown, McCoy, Snelling, and Scott. Scoring is 6 for td and 1 for every 10 yards.
batterboy05
You are pretty deep at WR, and not deep at all at RB. I would do it. I would roll with Miles Austin the rest of the way.
ts
Since apparently no PPR ... I'd make the deal, you do need the RB help even though your WRs are iffy in terms of consistent production after Wayne, who is Mr. Consistent ... nice to be able to just pencil in 7/90/1 almost every week for him and then fill in your other starters from there. Assuming you are in danger of missing your FF playoffs or you'd not be looking to shake up your team at this stage of the game ... and assuming you have checked the remaining strength of schedule for CAR & IND (I have not) and it's reasonable for Williams ... and assuming you only start 2 WRs and 2 RBs with maybe a flex spot ... go for it.
