Menudo Posted November 29, 2009 Share Posted November 29, 2009 What do our resident Chiefs fans think of Jamaal Charles moving forward, now that LJ is gone. Do you think the Chiefs will be in the market for a RB early in the draft or in free agency, or do they think that Charles is their future ? The kid definitely has some talent. Duchess Jack Posted November 29, 2009 Share Posted November 29, 2009 (edited) I am not a Chiefs homer - but with Charles' size, poor pass blocking and the fact that he could not beat out LJ and was challenged by Kolby Smith - I'd be shocked if the Chiefs didn't draft a back in the first day or at the very least sign a FA back edited to add: I think that the kid has talent and given the right situation, could be very productive in this league, similar to Ray Rice - but I think for this to happen that the team needs to make a committment to him and let him grow into the role and the addition of a rookie or FA back could really spoil that chance Edited November 29, 2009 by Duchess Jack Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
