Swashbucklers
I feel like the guy on The League. Screw you Antonio Gates! No doubt. In my local I played against him today and in week 4. Every other week he has been pretty pedestrian, and then bam!
bushwacked
In WCOFF scoring he was the #5 scoring TE going into this week. He can go off any week with the way defenses are forced to focus on SD's WR's.
ThatDude
Sat him for the first time this year and played Olsen instead. The move may end my season.
boltnlava
I've started him every time (except bye). I figure at least I will get points and sometimes I'll get a lot of points. Up to week 10 he has 103 gms., 5,775 yds., 53 tds, and a 5.89 pt ave for his career. I figure that's pretty good.

cnsfrk009
Unless you have dallas clark, gonzalez, davis etc, how can you bench this guy, let alone against the CHIEFS. shame on whoever for benching him.

Square
I drafted him as my only TE in my PPR league and have never picked up a second all year. I haven't been real happy about the lack of touchdowns but he was a solid 4-6 catches and 50-70 yards every week (9 - 13 points). It has allowed me to carry an extra roster spot for some of my other positions. Hopefully he goes back to getting some TDs on a regular basis, but I remember thinking that would happen after he blew up against the Steelers earlier this year so I'm not counting on it. It came at a good time though as I need to string together a couple of wins to secure my playoff spot. Hopefully Rivers/Norv remember they have a guy that linebackers really can't cover and they should use him.

kingfish247
These type of games have been there all year for Gates but he kept coming up short. He leads the team in catches most weeks. In the stretch from his last 2 TD game, Gates was tackled at or near the 1 yard line like 5 or 6 times. Also, teams clearly have to pick their Chargers poison with all their talent at skill positions. In the end for opposing Ds, Vincent Jackson probably isn't the guy you'd want to leave one-on-one. STL Fan
I benched him for my nominee for waiver-man-of-the-year Vernon Davis, who also had a good game and also had a good matchup. I've been shopping Gates for weeks, with no real takers.
