mroban
This guy looks like he can play in this league and probably should be the #2 in Pittsburgh regardless of Batch's health. Dixon was phenomenal at Oregon before his injury ended his last season. Oregon was heading for a BCS berth if my memory serves me until Dixon went down with a knee injury. In any event, the dude looks like a guy that could start on alot of teams. Too bad he cant have Kordell Stewart's number (ah Kordell, lets fondly remember the one incredible fantasy season he gave us - and the championship he helped deliver for me that season). CaptainHook
Yeah, I watched him at Oregon and was very impressed. He is doing very well.
CaptainHook
I obviously cursed him, cause he went straight in the crapper after I posted the above.
irish
Yup, not half bad, the first half.
kpholmes
Like Al Michaels said, you don't see many zone blitzes in the Pac10. Good experience for the kid.
giantsfan
Yeah, hard to knock him. He produced two TD's, on the road, in primetime, against a VERY good D AT HOME, in a must win game for Balt if they wanted to make the playoffs. That blitz is a blitz a lot of QB's throw int's on. Happened to Flacco the prior week. Overall I think he looked real solid. Pitt is still in good shape. They have a real nice schedule going forward. Could be 11-5. Worst case 10-6 and still get the # 6 seed IMO assuming they beat Balt in Pitt.
The Irish Doggy
Time to bench Ben!
Trots
It seemed that once the Ravens stopped sending 6-7 man blitzes and played coverage instead - he really struggled. Overall, he impressed me though.
Pope Flick
Meh. The real test is what happens when he starts a few games in a row, and they get enough film on him to exploit any tendencies he might have.
