thefreak
Im in a PPR and Wayne has been getting heavy dosages of quality corners and this week he will be getting a top of the line corner and debating whether to actually sit him. What ya'll think?
delusions of grandeur
It really depends on what your other options are. No doubt Champ is as close to a shut-down corner as there is, but guys like Reggie Wayne have a way of making some catches, even against elite secondary. I do recall Randy Moss being very mediocre going up against Revis, but if you don't have any better WR choices, then you might just have to settle for the possibilty that Reggie Wayne will most likely be a mediocre play this week. Montana is da Man
If this game was being played in Denver, I'd say to sit Wayne if you have a better option. But this game is in a dome. He may not put up huge numbers against Champ, but I think he'll get the job done.
famman6
As I rule I never bench studs and Wayne is a stud. Good Luck! Please see my questions. http://forums.thehuddle.com/index.php?showtopic=311281 http://forums.thehuddle.com/index.php?showtopic=311281

ts
Although I am typically very much of the "never sit players like Reggie Wayne" school of thought ... this week, I am almost convinced that I will sit him in order to start V. Davis, R. Moss & D. Mason in a 1/2 PPR, TE not mandatory league. Time will tell I guess, if my abandoning conventional NSYS wisdom for the first time in many years will come back to haunt me.
