Henry Muto
If Cincy wins they are tied and will both need to play their starters weeks 16 and maybe week 17 If SD wins its "lights out" and both are locked into spots. NFL needs to expand to 18 games so we can get away from these late season byes. All Indy players are worthless now.
Big John
NFL needs to expand to 18 games so we can get away from these late season byes. How would a 18-week season do that? It may push them later into the season. but won't get rid of them.

Henry Muto
I am talking about the "bye" weeks at the end of the year like Indy is on bye weeks 15-17 now Not the actually "bye" weeks during the year. All clear now ?

ts
All clear now ? Clearly not. If there were an 18 week season, how is (for example) IND being 15-0 in week #16 dramatically different from them being 13-0 in week #14? Unless your reasoning is that there is less chance of teams clinching a playoff spot / home field, etc, etc "earlier" in the year if the NFL season was longer than it is now? All clear now ? and you don't get it...those "bye" weeks would then just get pushed back to weeks 17-19 in your scenario
BillyBalata
The Muto didn't say expand the FF season, just the NFL season.

keggerz
Ding Ding Ding we have a winner! so then shorten your season and stop complaining as if leagues wouldnt expand their schedules if the NFL did

wolfer
Neither team will rest anyone. Cincy's O looks awful right now and they'll use the next few weeks to get some things fixed. San Diego, in my mind is the favorite to represent the AFC in the super bowl. What better way to prove it by winning 11 in a row heading into the dance. Riffraff
Better hope Denver wins as well to keep the pressure on the Chargers.
