USMCGRUNT_0341
Hello all, I'm a newb here, but need some good advice. I am possibly going up against a guy who has won our league the last 4 yrs in a row. I even met him in the Superbowl once and lost. I need to get through this week first. Need to know what you guys think about free agent pick ups. Trying to do it by tonight becuase this guy is a free agent mastermind and the waivers go through tonight. My starters QB- Alex Smith RB- Chris Johnson RB- Jamaal Charles WR- Nate Burelson ? WR- C.Ochocinko WR/RB/TE- W.Welker TE- Vernon Davis K- Akers D- Ravens My bench QB-Hassleback RB-Westbrook RB-Ryan Moats RB-Chester Taylor TE-V. Shiancoe K-Prater D-Bengals This is a PPR league. 6pt TD's and total yardage with bonus's every 100 yards. I think I'm in need of a receiver unless I get a stud RB and use him as a flex moving Welker. Or could start (2) TE's? I'm stuck! Here are some of the free agents in my league: WR Henderson, Devery WR Britt, Kenny WR TEN MIA Bess, Davone WR MIA Knox, Johnny WR CHI Bennett, Earl WR CHI Crayton, Patrick WR DAL Jenkins, Michael WR ATL Bryant, Antonio WR TB Massaquoi, Mohamed WR CLE Caldwell, Andre WR CIN Clayton, Mark WR BAL Murphy, Louis WR OAK Jones, James WR GB Camarillo, Greg WR MIA Floyd, Malcom WR SD Muhammad, Muhsin WR CAR Washington, Kelley WR BAL Randle El, Antwaan WR WAS Wade, Bobby WR KC Thomas, Devin WR WAS Hartline, Brian WR MIA Whoever can help me I " " to you. Thanks alot.
BearBroncos
Is this a PPR league? If it is, I see no reason not to start Welker in the flex. If I had to use any from your wire, I'd definately pick up Britt. Him and Young are on the same page so when he shoots for a receiver in the end zone, it's normally Britt. electricrelish
Drop Nate Burleson and grab Antonio Bryant for this week. He's got a great match-up against Seattle. We knew against Revis last week, he wouldn't get much, but the two games before that were excellent. Go with Bryant instead of Burleson. See Mine. The Yakuza
Or you could move Welker into the REC slot, drop Burleson down to the bench and play Westbrook, IF (big IF) he is going to play like they say he is. In a PPR Westbrook is money but coming off an injury it would be a big risk. A. Bryant is a good matchup against Seattle but it is supposed to be cold and raining hard. Not exactly the best weather warm weather boys. Henderson might be woth a look. He's actually had some end zone passes thrown at him but h's dropped them. USMCGRUNT_0341
Thanks for the advice. I'm looking at Bryant hard now, but am afraid of that weather. I hate waiting to depend on a broken Westbrook.
The Yakuza
I didn't draft WB for that specific purpose. The guy is so injury prone it's redonkulous. When he plays he is a stud though.

I'm dropping Burelson who is going to be done for the season and trying to take a shot with Bryant. A close second is Britt. But I still give Bryant the edge for this week.
