SLAYER
how can they justify taking Infante, a non starter on his own team, over Votto.
buddahj
how can they justify taking Infante, a non starter on his own team, over Votto. Absolutely ridiculous. Screw the All-Star game...
Dallas Sooner
no joke. And to think Manuel made this selection. Could he change his mind after the abuse he is taking about it. Supposedly this was to give flexability at 2 middle infield positions. But Im not buying it. Something fishy is going on here.
Big John
Get this crap out of a baseball thread. I moved it to the UFC thread.

whoopazz
Padres pitching staff: Ranked the best in the Majors..Padres have best record in NL yet no member is in the All-Star game. Insulting. All irrelevant. The game is about individual recognition, not team.
Seahawks21
All irrelevant. The game is about individual recognition, not team. True but at least Latos or Bell should have made it. Votto should have made it. Weaver needs to be on the team. There was one other big one that I am misremembering.
tazinib1
All irrelevant. The game is about individual recognition, not team. The quote actually used by several Padres over the weekend as well. Just added fuel to the fire is all. Not sure if the Padres have the bats to get to the Series, but its gonna be fun as hell watching them try. Dallas Sooner
how can they justify taking Infante, a non starter on his own team, over Votto. I read today that Votto is a top candidate for NL MVP, and he isnt even getting to the all star game at the present time.
