detlef
Dude, first all the mess at UNC, now MIami is in hot water. If the cost of reaching the rare air of 8-9 win seasons is selling your soul, what do you have to do to win 12?
wildcat2334
well hoops season isn't that far off and your still better than the Big East Florida State looks legit though and should be BCS bowl bound..........

It's bad form for UNC fans to start pointing to hoops season at least until we've gotten our ass kicked by State. We got a variance last year when half our team was ruled out before game 1 and we're applying for one this year since they canned the coach a week before camp starts. Still waiting on the ruling though, so we have to pretend there's football until we hear otherwise.
delusions of grandeur
They play football in the ACC? Don't worry, VA Tech should be on the move to the SEC, so you shouldn't have to worry about any of this "football" nonsense much longer

flemingd
what do you have to do to win 12? 40k to the QB, spamshirts to recruits on visits, and free tattoos for all!

Sad that 12 current players are connected though. That is not getting your money's worth.
millerx
How does Miami have all these issues and we dont even win the crappy ACC. Duse... it's Miami... as in "the city of Miami" !! you got South Beach, the bars, TONS of wealth, the women, etc.... No other "college" town compares. Its just too easy, too accessible, and too excessive. I just don't see college towns like Blacksberg, VA or Chapel Hill N.C. being quite the same. And that's not to pick on the ACC... There aren't many cities period that could hang with Miami along the lines of hedonism ( save maybe USC and L.A.). Hell, do you really think you could get away with as much in say.... Athens Ga, Knoxville Tenn., College Station PA, Ann Arbor MI. , etc.? It would just be too noticeable... unlike Miami.

Tech hasn't done much to improve the ACC's football reputation. Besides, why would they leave when they begged so much to get in the ACC in the first place? detlef
I think he meant in football, which I believe is true. Not that should be a feather in the ACC's cap or anything...

LiL10(s)ArEaJoKe
At least the coach at Miami could show some class, have the U do it's own investigation and if they believe the kids are guilty, kick their a$$es off the team. Stoops did it when it was brought to light that the owners of Big Sports and Imports was giving money to Bomar......nothing like sending a message to the rest of the team, when you kick you starting QB off the team........
