keggerz
Are you kidding me, some great F'n games going on.... Phils come back to tie the Braves in the 9th as the Braves fight to get into a 1 game playoff with the Cards Rays down 7-0 to Yanks at one point and hit a PH homer in the bottom of the 9th to send the game into extras Boston leads Balt 3-2 and just coming out of a rain delay. i_am_the_swammi
This is pretty outrageous what is going on....Boston has to be just beside themselves Glad our Phils played to win, and kept it real
Do Work Son
Yea it's pretty awesome! I'd be going crazy if the phils were the one that had to win tonight...glad I can sit back and enjoy.

Azazello1313
that was insane. the sux had a lead in the 9th with 2 down, nobody on....and at the same time, the yanks had 1st and 3rd, none out in the top of 12. gotta figure the rays had a <1% of chance of getting in tonight at that moment. i_am_the_swammi
really??? 7 runs down in the 8th, and come back to win in extras? Boston losing and Longoria hitting the playoff-clinching home run happened about 3 minutes apart....I wonder if Tampa even knew they were in when their game ended? Just awesome. MLB: they did. upton was at the plate and suddenly everybody starts cheering as the final came up from b'more. it was kind of surreal for a moment. he struck out, then longoria went deep. this is one of the most incredible nights in sport I can remember. the whole thing was just out of this world. i_am_the_swammi
and Papelbon blowing a save and losing to the Orioles. The convergence of events that made tonight happen, from the erasing of the huge wild-card leads in both leagues through the whole month, to the Rays needing a sweep of the Yanks, to the Phils sweeping the Braves for the Cardinals....then all the wacky things in the final games themselves....its almost hard to fathom what had to happen for the Rays and Cards to get in. Seahawks21
I heard a number on radio today. When coupled with the lead Boston had in the wild-card on Sept 3, Baltimore was down to their last out and Tampa was down to theirs, the combined probability of the Rays making the playoffs was 1/278 million!!
