i_am_the_swammi
1 year deal. I guess to sure up the bullpen? Nice signing to add some middle-relief depth. We'll see if he can still throw strikes some February.
Zooty
Willis actually pitched better than his record indicated with the Reds, at least initially. He had no wins but a 3.41 ERA through his first six starts and allowed more than three earned runs only once in his first 10 starts before posting an 8.27 ERA in September. Willis, 29, has started in 202 of his 205 games in the majors, but he doesn’t figure to crack the Phillies’ loaded rotation. Instead, he gives Philadelphia a much-needed left-hander out of the bullpen. Willis has held lefty hitters to a .200 batting average in his career and was particularly effective against them last season, keeping them to a .127 average and a .200 slugging percentage in 55 at-bats. http://tucsoncitizen.com/usa-today-sports/...-with-phillies/
