Dez for Brees

It's a standard scoring PPR dynasty league with every TD worth 6 points.

Last year I came on strong at the end but playing Tavaris Jackson or Alex Smith at QB killed me. I have Peyton but can I trust him?

The deal is:

Brees, Reggie Wayne, & Ed Dickson for Peyton & Dez.

If I do the trade my WR's will be: Wayne, Roddy White, Heyward-Bey, Lance Moore, Laurent Robinson, Massaquoi, & Kevin Walter.

Do I trust Peyton & keep Dez or do I have enough depth to go after a top QB?

I don;t know that Manning is trustable. Even if he is close to healthy, he will be in a John Fox system where he won't throw as much as in the past. I think 26 attempts per game will be his norm. And there is always the threat of his neck injury resurfacing.

Without Sean at HC for NO, I think Brees will have free reign to throw as much as ever, and with the emergence of Jimmy Graham and Colston staying, Brees should have a chance at leading the league in passing TDs.

It may be Fox's system, but lets not forget the audibles. He will audible and take over the offense just like he always has. You really think Fox will reign him in? That's foolish to think.

Regardless, I keep Peyton/Dez

I like this analysis and pretty much agree. But I can see an argument for going the other way as well.
