What do you think of my team?

Recommended Posts

12 team PPR with 0.1 per completion for QBs and an OP spot.

Drafted like this:

QB Drew Brees

RB Steven Jackson

RB Beanie Wells

RB/WR DeAngelo Williams

WR Calvin Johnson

WR Denarius Moore

TE Antonio Gates

OP Carson Palmer

D/ST Jets D/ST

K David Akers

BE Alex Smith

BE Isaac Redman

BE Anquan Boldin

BE Randy Moss

BE Nate Washington

BE Jermaine Gresham

After trades this is how I'm looking:

QB Philip Rivers

RB Frank Gore

RB Marshawn Lynch

RB/WR Denarius Moore

WR Andre Johnson

WR Mike Wallace

TE Antonio Gates

OP Alex Smith

D/ST Jets D/ST

K David Akers

BE Carson Palmer

BE Isaac Redman

BE DeAngelo Williams

BE Randy Moss

BE Nate Washington

BE Jermaine Gresham

Have I improved? I feel like other than my Flex spot I'm pretty solid, where before I was fairly top heavy. Alex Smith isn't great at OP but he was fairly consistent last year.

Looks like a middle of the pack team to me.

I agree, I would definitely be starting Isaac Redman over Beanie Wells too, at this point at least.

That was just how my team started at the draft. The second lineup is what I have now. Don't have Wells anymore. Might start Redman at Flex though cuz it looks like Moore might not play week 1.

Felt like I needed to spread out my talent. If Megatron or Brees had a bad game I would lose that week. If either got hurt I might as well call it a season. Definitely don't have any big time studs but I feel like I'm more balanced now.

Just my :2cents:, but those are the guys that win you championships.

Damn this is discouraging lol. This was my first time doing an auction draft and didn't really like my team to begin with. Felt like I did a decent job filling in holes (RB2, Flex and WR2). Luckily its a long season and fantasy is pretty crazy.

Yes he did, having Megatron is basically like having two wide receivers in one as far as fantasy goes.

Apparently I need a lot of help. If anyone would like to mentor me it would be much appreciated.

I wish i could say that that was uneccessary advice but clearly I could have used that a couple of days ago.

So, potential fantasy mentors, the past is the past and im stuck with this team for now. What should I do? Where am I weakest and what moves should i try and make?

Are you coming to the Huddle mixer next month? Are you a top or a bottom?

Haha yea I read about the ancient greek mentoring going on around here. So i guess the question is: Does this kind of mentoring guarantee fantasy victory?

You don't become the Web's largest LGBT fantasy football site by coming in second. So to speak. :brow:
