puz
Hey guys, who would you start, I'm at the point that I've totally confused myself on who the best choice might be. I would need a 20+ point game from the qb slot this week in order for me to get a victory. Help me out here, and I'll be glad to help you as well.(don't forget to leave a link)
borge007
I'd start Big Ben.
puz
thanks borge. Now Big Ben, is gradually getting better, especially since the run game has officially kicked off with bell, and additional help with sanders and crotchery in the WR core since brown has been going against the #1 CB's of opposing teams. On the other hand cutler was ranked 6th in QBs before he got injured and eli has always had the talent on his wr roster, but mishaps on both sides through out the first half of the season with the addition of a very poor Oline that seems to be coming along. Will the bye have helped them continue to grow offensively? This is whats on my mind when I'm trying to pick the starting QB for this week. Any thoughts you guys? Warped Allstar
I'd go with Ben. Wait a game to see if Cutler is healed first. Nothing hurts worse than your qb, who is coming back from an injury, getting re-hurt after one series... like Vick. Eli is just too unpredictable... even though I think the Giants are going to start playing a lot better.
puz
Right, it seems though Big Ben will be the safest bet out of the 3 QB's, I totally agree. Unfortunately I've lost a few clutch players a few weeks ago, and now I'm at a point where I'm asking for my QB roster to step up, especially this week going against a decent team, and I feel like I need the edge which is going to come through by picking the QB which is going to score the most for week 10. Could Big Ben be that guy to score 20-30 points?
Woodpecker
Big Ben could put up 20-30 but I think Eli would have a betters shot at 30. He also has a better shot at 5-8 pts though
puz
I agree. Eli has that high risk high upside, because of his potent wr core. Hmm, this decision is going to be tougher than I expected. Edited November 10, 2013 by puz
Cherubim
I say Big Ben. Buffalo does not have the best pass defense and Pittsburgh is coming off a stinging loss to New England. I picked up Big Ben myself this week and I think he'll have a pretty decent day. Cutler is just coming back from an injury - probably a little too early (see Vick) in my opinion. Eli is just a mess this year -- too unpredictable. They've been predicting that Hicks will have a big game for a long time now. I'm just not convinced. Thanks. http://forums.thehuddle.com/index.php?/topic/410609-spiller-or-l-bell/
