Need some advice on this. I'm at work so I haven't broke down future schedules and what not. I'm being offered Brees, Welker, Rice and Ridley for Cam, Marshall, AP and Tate. Do I accept?? Thanks

Well lets break it down

Brees for Cam---- Your getting a monster upgrade here at QB

Welker for Marshall-- Uhh, tough call--- these 2 are pretty even-- well call it a draw

Ridley for AP -- I took the best 2 Rbs here-- I think the difference between Brees and Cam offsets the difference here as I expect Ridley in standard scoring anyway to be a Low end Rb1 the rest of way or atleast a high end Rb2

Rice for Tate-- huge downgrade here, I hate this and I would not want Ray Rice over Ben Tate the rest of the season, you could have argued even with Foster healthy Tate is just as valuable rest of season.

So all in all, I have to say that the difference you lose in the RBs is way more than what you gain from Cam to Brees. If you are somehow not starting Ray Rice here or Ben Tate and you are going for it, maybe you can justify the trade, but I just don't see you likely winning this trade in the long run. Ridley and Rice s such a significant drop off from AP and Tate.

I say no go... if you can do this trade while taking out Rice and Tate then maybe you do it, I would counter with

You give Tate + Cam + Welker for Brees + Marshall + Rice if you really want the upgrade at QB and try to keep AP. I actually might like Marshall more than Welker the rest of the season now that I think about it, since Welker will be up and down with the targets and receptions as there is so many mouths to feed in Denver while Marshall is the clear cut #1 and will consistently get his targets.
