Joebirds55
Last week I went w the texans over the panthers thinking Arizona would be a sack party and the 9ers would play well at home. Basically cost me my matchup. Once again the texans have a fairly easy matchup vs oakland, and the panthers take on the pats who just threw up a boat load of points. Scoring is pretty sack heavy. I'm leaning panthers thinking that the pats looked mediocre offensively all year until last week. I'm actually surprised, even w the matchup, how high some people still rank the texans. Will help in return

Croe
Think you go CAR. They have been an awesome D this year and I think you roll with them the rest of the way. Its great when you don't have to think about your D except for bye and I think that's what you have in CAR. http://forums.thehuddle.com/index.php?/topic/411050-my-team-is-reeling-need-help-this-week-bad/

Joebirds55
Anyone else? I'd imagine a bunch of people would be debating on using the panthers d or not this week
DanMTampa
I have the Panthers D and rolled with them last week... I have no plans to burn a roster spot on another D - yet. If they have a bad game - performance wise - I may make a change eventually. I am keeping my eyes open for a nice defense option for the 14&16 playoff weeks when they face New Orleans. So the person that said 'roll with them the rest of the way' - must not have seen what NO did to Dallas... Yes - Dallas looked awful - but so did my Philly QB when they face Dallas just a few weeks ago. If someone is looking playoffs - look ahead! DanMTampa
I just looked and one defense that has a good 14-16 schedule is Jax - the absolute worst defense so far - may be a sleeper for the playoffs 'IF' they can improve on this year and last week's performance. But one to watch for if you own Carolina is MIami - they have good 14&16 match ups and you can roll Carolina back out 15.
chiroacademy
I have CAR D and I just don't feel comfortable this week. I also have HOU for the match up but may change my mind.
Joebirds55
I didn't feel comfortable last week and it screwed me...felt better about Houston and they continued to disappoint. Didn't do anything w a favorable matchup last week so it's hard to think this week will be any different.
cecileatmyshorts
Panthers front 7 is extremely good. Stick with them
Joebirds55
Kubiak supposed to return Sunday. Any impact (for better or worse) on the texans d? Some extra motivation?
FUBARED
Kubiak supposed to return Sunday. Any impact (for better or worse) on the texans d? Some extra motivation? No impact at all, Texans homer. Their defense hasn't been the same all year long. I have the Panthers D and have had them for quite a while now. They have not let me down so sticking with them. jtkelly
I've been rolling with Panthers D since week 4. I MAY pick up another defense for those two Saints game in the fantasy playoffs.
Wubammer
Since I'm a Panthers D owner, I checked out their future opponents awhile back. I picked up the Rams D for weeks 14 and 16.
Joebirds55
What now??? Pryor out..raiders rolling w a rookie qb...texans seem like a better option. Thoughts?
traj
Im in similar sit. Panthers D or Jets at Buf with all their injuries. Regarding Texans, they havent been the same since Cush left. Jennings might run all over them and take short passes from UDFA QB. Id go Panthers. Thoughts on Panthers v Jets Def?
Joebirds55
Funny, in my only other league I usually go d by committee and I'm rolling jets this week. I prob would lean panthers there

dougsul
I have KC and really dont like them, but dont want to drop a Vehreen, MJD or Harvin to pick someone else up. The talking heads all like KC this week but I am not so sure.

The talking heads all like KC this week but I am not so sure. I wouldn't be so sure either. I wouldn't expect crazy numbers like past weeks but I think they sack manning 2 or 3 times and get a turnover or two. They'll get hurt w yards and points but I still think they're a decent play. Same dilemma here, all the experts seem to think carolina will still be a good play this week. Matchup alone makes the texans worthy (look at what the giants did last week), but I'm kinda surprised experts still have them top 3, given their preseason ranking and a for the most part disappointing year
Joebirds55
Also, leaning texans for now w no Pryor, but may start carolina just to make Monday more interesting (too bad texans don't play a later game tomorrow)
