I am trading Josh Gordon and Trent Richardson for Matt Stafford. I already have Newton at QB but i need consistent numbers to win the league.

I am going to add Ben Tate and Riley Cooper on waivers to fill my roster once the trade is complete. (((I already have an empty spot because I dropped Foster so Stafford takes that spot and then I will have 2 more empty spots which would be filled by Cooper and Tate)))

Should i go through with the trade considering the guys I am adding after it and is the trade good for my team?

I think so, honestly the only thing your giving up is Josh Gordon and Richardson has little to no value and your getting a top 10 QB in return and Tate is clearly a better option then Richardson even hurt and Cooper or Harvin can fill in to some degree for the loss of Gordon. Only two things I'm missing to completely sign off on this deal is who are the next best QBs available and what other WR options do you already have on your team and how many WRs do you have to start?

The best available qb is Rivers and I have Jordy Nelson, Demaryious Thomas, Pierre Garcon, and Roddy White

So in my mind I am not losing anything at all and I am getting another option and QB because Newton so inconsistent.
