Brees and Russell Wilson Playoff time

So I currently have Brees and Wilson as starters in a two QB league. Right now I'm almost certainly heading to the fantasy playoffs. My only concern is that one or both of them get benched week 17 to keep healthy for the real playoffs, of course only after both teams clinch playoffs. I guess there's also another scenario where both teams are still competing for the number one seed in week 17 though. My back up QB's are currently Campbell and Cutler. Should I stick with those guys or possibly pick up Tavaris Jackson? This has been my only real worry during the second half of the fantasy season. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Seattle would have to beat the Saints in Seattle in two weeks and then also beat the Niners in San Francisco the week after to have home field advantage wrapped up enough to rest Wilson in week 17. As big of a Seattle homer as I am, and no matter how much I hope for that to happen, realistically they lose one of those games which leaves the Saints in the mix for home field still. Even if the Seahawks win both those games, the Saints might be fighting Carolina for the first round bye and possibly the division, as they play the Panthers twice still, so it's less likely that Brees sits. Someway, somehow, I see at least Wilson or Brees playing in week 17, and I would start Cutler in week 17 over Tjax in week 17 without thinking twice.

Tough call, I haven't looked at the standings to analyze in as much detail as sfgiants has, but I would say with Cutler as the backup you should be fine. I wouldn't think you'd have to sit both of them. Cutler should be fine as a fill in if you need him.
