Ridley....

Vereen becomes a RB 1 for sure now, not as if he wasn't already before. All those fumbles really haunting Ridley now.

Vereen hasn't scored once this year and yet, in PPR leagues, hasn't had less than 15 pts in the 3 games he's played. Vereen is ranked #7 in average pts per game played this season.

As Boldin & Vereen owners hurl themselves into snake-filled pits:

NEP - James Develin 1 yard TD run, 12:41

belicheck is almost as bad as skeletor.

TD Vereen!

Money! Double digits again, in just receiving alone.

Is there any chance that the Patriots just release Ridely at the end of the season? I think there are plenty of teams that have longer fuses than Belichick.

Not listed amongst the Inactives today. FWIW...

Ridley is active/expected to play this week (KFFL) and it is Bolden's turn to be inactive -- I still expect to see a lot more of Vereen than anyone else in the NEP backfield.

If Ridley was out again, I think a case could be made for Blount. Now, he could still be worth a play but too risky to start for my taste.

Agree, Blount could get 12 carries and a score, or he could tote the ball x2 and be done for the day. Since week 8 his snap count percentages have been:

24%, 12%, bye, 26%, 2%, 29% ... and as might be expected, his 12 & 2 percent games were shootouts, the PIT & DEN games.

Exactly, the only RB worth starting for the Pats is Vereen because of his touches in the passing game. It's a clusterfizzuck when it comes to who rushes the ball.
