Is it safe to drop Montee Ball?

I'm going to offer the opposite advice and say drop him. He had many, many chances earlier this season to solidify himself as the #1 RB in Denver, and he didn't produce. His injury cost him the role temporarily, and Hillman's performance sealed the deal. I think Hillman will remain the definitive #1 RB in Denver, Ball might get a couple carries a game but not enough to justify him being on your roster.

Hillman is not even close to a definite number one in Denver. His as injury prone and fumble prone as ball if not more. Ball will for sure at the very least be the goal line back and already blocks a lot better than hillman after just one season. Protecting manning is more important. 10 attempts 16 rushing yards? Ball wouldn't even put those numbers up. The only thing that saved hillman was a 1yd td and manning throwing him a couple balls that anyone can catch.

If you have to, you can drop him but expect him to be scooped up by another team patient enough for him to do something
