My team:

Murray

Drake, Gibson (Montgomery,  Booker)

Tyreek Hill, Jefferson (Lazard, J Brown)

Flex AJ Brown

Andrews

Vikes

Z Gonzalez

I am 7-3, sitting in 2nd place. I just got an offer, I give Jefferson and receive Mixon and G Bernard. Does this work for my team?

‘The trade didn’t go through as he had another taker, now I got another offer for Jefferson from the Gurley owner, what are your thoughts and perspective of the fragility of Gurley?

I'd pass on that deal. Gurley's best days are behind him, you're taking the hit in that deal.

I am 100% newbie here, but I am no stranger to web forums by any stretch in other hobbies & other ventures.

You're a terrific asset to this community.

Thx, just enjoy talking football and fantasy football with others that love it. Been playing fantasy football since 1989, so, for a great chunk of my life.

The last year that I myself played on the gridiron!

I see you are from NJ... perhaps our paths have crossed!

Where you from?  Where are you now? I'm from central Jersey, Old Bridge area but family is from Bayonne/Jersey City.

oh oh oh... oh.   Bayonne.   Bayonne ended my season in the states in 87.  A windy, cooooold day .  Truth be told, I was on the bench for that one,   having been beaten out by a better OLB.     The 2's didnt play that day.  Some Special team work is all i had that day.

I've since moved.

Ah, Bayonne at Veterans' Stadium behind the HS right on the water.

On that damned water.  With that damned wind.  I dont know what the real temp was, but in my mind, how I remember it,  it was 40 mph and 20 degrees out.

One dropped pass.  One first down.  We still talk about it.    Honestly, we were the better team.   But, that day, I guess not.

That area creates a nice home field advantage. Bayonne is a gritty place. Where did you move off to?

BTW, welcome to the huddle.

Good times looking back then.   We were still OK the following year, but with guys like me starting, not in the same ballpark as that 87 team.

I moved to Morris county, a small Group 1.   Quaint.  I like it.

Nice, being happy where you are is key. Good luck with things, see you around.

Good Morning Irish!

I'm 8-3 and secured a playoff spot.  Still looking for help going forward.  With CMC and Swift issues I've been adding RBs for depth.  Here's my current roster:

QB Taysom

RB CMC, Sanders, Swift, McKissic, Edmonds, Gore

WR Hopkins, Claypool, Tee Higgins, AB

TE Fant, Goedert

K Lutz

D Pit

Should I drop any of my guys to add any of these for the playoffs?

Curtis Samuel

Cam Akers

Jordan Reed

Tim Patrick

Daniel Jones

Ryan Tannehill

Jared Goff

Andy Dalton

Thoughts?

Thank you!

Slim

What 2 RBS to start this week and RB in Flex:

Aaron Jones

David Montgomery (if healthy)

Mike Davis

Duke Johnson

Raheem Mostert (if Healthy)

Salvon Ahmed or Miles Gaskin (if healthy)

Wayne Gallman

I have Rams DST, DJ Moore and Aaron Rodgers starting as well. 3 different sets of stacked players/teams. Not sure if that’s a good thing.

Hey Irish, here's what I am looking at for week 12.  Who would you play?

I am bottom 3 in the league  in a must-win spot vs a top 3 in our league, who has a decent but not lights out (between 109-115 estimated points in 1/2ppr league) team lined up.

--------------

In each category, I put my probably choices first.  Thoughts?

QB(1)- Carr, BigBen

WR(2)- CalRidley, BCooks, Tee HIggins, MikeWilams

Flex(1, no QB)- AJ Brown

RB(2)- JConner, Ballage, Carson, Mckissic, Edmonds

(TE, K, DST are locked  as Andrews, JTucker, Pittsburgh)

---------------

I can get GusEdwards, NAlgohor, sterlingS, and Jcrowder off the wire, but am leaning heavily to not do that.

I am pretty comfortable with my WR choices and Carr over Ben.

RB has me triple guessing.  RB Concerns:

Carson is back, but will he split time or just take over?

JConner is seeing fewer and fewer touches and getting less out of it, but vs Balt and with a slightly wounded Ben, maybe that reverses.

Ballage is the clear #1, gets a lot of touches and can catch.  Good matchup @ BUF, but will the chargers just pass a ton, cutting his touches? Is Ekeler back, rendering him moot?

McKissic and edmonds have both been good to me... but then again you dont marry the players, you play them, right?

I always only worry about starting players that will score you the most points. Don't worry about your opponent's players as much or other factors like stacking.

Jones and Davis for sure!  The flex is more difficult, what's feels like the expected play is Duke, however, my gut is pulling for Ahmed.

Duke I’m bailing on. I’ve come to the conclusion he’s not going to run for a 100+ yards and there’s a chance Watson will run the ball himself in red zone.

ahmed or Gallman I can see running for 100+ and a score.

why Ahmed over Gallman?
