And so it begins: Off-season idiocy

Without football likely more than half of these players would be in jail or dead.

At least it is not like the Cowboys are debating keeping or releasing DeMarco Murray which could potentially give Randle a starting job behind a great line only about 8 months after the Cowboys were thinking about just cutting Randle loose so that his career would almost surely be over.

Oh wait...

D'Qwell Jackson - LB - Colts

Colts ILB D'Qwell Jackson was arrested for assault in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday night.

Source: ABC Washington Feb 4 - 10:21 AM

I don't recall him ever making the news for any legal trouble while he was with the Browns. Maybe the pizza guy deserved to be throat punched?

Letroy Guion's arrest was ridiculous considering what he had on him. $190K, weed and a gun.

Not just Josh Gordon, a lot of Josh Gordon (about 3/4 lb. according the article below).

Who does he think he is, Nate Newton?

He is facing Felony Possession charges and should face some penalty from the NFL too.

Colts linebackers are having a rough month:

Josh McNary charged with rape.

Andrew Jackson charged with DUI.

D'Qwell Jackson charged with assaulting a pizza boy.

:coach: It's not delivery! It's D'Qwell!

the d'qwell incident happened here in DC, so the local fox news interviewed the pizza guy this morning...he said he was scared to death because d'qwell threatened to kill him, and he had some bruises and scrapes on his face...he also said that as soon as d'qwell realized what he had done, he got on his knees and started begging and pleading for the pizza guy not to file charges, offering him all of the money he had in his pocket to keep quiet...the news team knocked on d'qwell's door for an interview, but no answer...go figure...

Is there much concrete info on what happened? Was DQ being a total ahole, or did the pizza guy also play a role. Why were they fighting over a parking spot and why did DQ get physical?

i only heard the pizza guy's side of the story on the news, but apparently the pizza joint and where d'qwell live are adjacent to each other and the pizza guy "parked" in d'qwell's spot between deliveries...d'qwell allegedly went ballistic and threatened to kil the guy, although the pizza guy said he "said" he volunteered to move the car, but d'qwell wouldn't let him out...probably going to end in a classic "he said, she said" type of situation...i don't believe (but i could be wrong) there were any witnesses...the pizza guy's face was all scraped up and bruised...
