rajncajn
Brandon Marshall, Steve Smith & Torrey Smith? I don't get the reasoning here from either side unless one of the Smiths is gone. There's just too many mouths to feed and they all have huge appetites.
CaptainHook
Isn't Torrey Smith an unrestricted free agent?
BA Baracus
Isn't Torrey Smith an unrestricted free agent? yep
irish
And really how long does Steve Smith have? Not that Marshall is a spring chicken.
sksmith
Isn't Torrey Smith an unrestricted free agent? Yep, and the Ravens have offered him a 5yr/$35 mil deal ($19 mil guaranteed)
Wpob
Chicago can't let Marshall go. They are better with him.
killswitch
Why can't Chicago keep Marshall?
Dolphin_Akie
Torrey Smith sounds like he'll re-sign as his stock can't be that high after a mediocre year. Even if you factor in all the DPI penalties he helped them get.
gilthorp
Lots of chatter about this in Chicago. I am 50/50 on this one. My gut says blow it all up, free up the space, but I would like to know how they would exactly replace him.
tazinib1
I'm pretty sure Alshon, Wheatley, Bennett and Forte will do just fine without Marshall.

tazinib1
Conjecture and hope...BS post. I guessing that comes from the part of you that DOESN'T want the Bears to blow things up?
Wolverines Fan
Ryan Pace and John Fox still noncommittal about Marshall and Cutler for 2015. http://www.rotoworld...3608/jay-cutler Edited February 18, 2015 by Wolverines Fan
gilthorp
The point is they aren't fine and if last year didn't prove that it's BS, I am unsure the point. No inside running, Alshon is not a #1 guy, and the TE I guess is OK. I will say they aren't OK. who is wheatley?

Never can tell.

Wolverines Fan
Marshall trade rumors heating up. http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/football/bears/chi-brandon-marshall-trade-talks-20150305-story.html
Brentastic
As a Bear fan I hate to see him go but as a dynasty owner, this is a great landing spot.
CowboysDiehard
After he single handedly tanked my fantasy season in two leagues last year, I say GOOD RIDDANCE SIR. I shall draft ye nevermore!
Footballjoe
2012 - 118 rec - 1508 yds - 11 tds. 2013 - 100 rec - 1295 yds - 12 tds. 2014 - 61 rec - 721 yds - 8 tds (he missed the last 3 games) Maybe some decline but there are a lot of weapons to go to (Forte, Jeffery, Bennent). I think he could help a lot of teams and put up 100 / 1200 / 14.
sksmith
^and done with Jay "Nobody Likes Me, Everyone Hates Me, Might As Well Eat Some Worms" Cutler as QB!

Shorttynaz
Baltimore couldn't come off a 5th rounder (rumored to be what the Jets gave up)?? Marshall's got to be as pissed off as L McCoy. Neither want to play for their new team. I know McCoy doesn't. I can't imagine Marshall thinks he has a chance at a championship in NY. stevegrab
Since the trade isn't official yet McCoy and Marshall could do something like get in trouble with the law, that might have deal nullified before it can become final. Then they're a headache for the current team trying to trade them.
