MorningMud
Thanks. Somewhat surprised that they are still considering the NE DEF to be a 4-3.
Zooty
At least they haven't flipped the DEs in NE to OLBs yet

Zooty
You must have been typing slowly while mine posted...that is the change I was expecting. LOL, I was reading the list. Yeah still not sure about the whole NE deal. It looked to me like they were running a 4-3 most of the time but a lot of things I read claim they are a 3-4 and going back to a 3-4. not sure why if you have 4-3 personnel and apparently a defense good enough to win the Superbowl
Gopher
Glad I don't have Mario, Hughes, Ware, etc. in any leagues where I need them at DE. Biggest hit to my teams was losing Dareus at DT, but I gained Ngata. Not exactly an even swap, but I was probably bound to start both, either way. BA Baracus
This would infuriate me if I played IDP. Is it just considered 'part of the game'?

Or keep an eye in the off-season and move guys like Ware and Hughes when the switch is kind of obvious with coaching and scheme changes

All my DT depth in one league was obliterated with these changes (Charles and Paea to DE). Outside of that, thankfully, I wasn't really impacted. Ron Parker going from CB to S was one change that affected me in multiple leagues, but I had been expecting this change and was actually counting on it in some leagues where I'm weak at S. Once you go IDP, it is really hard to go back to the "basic" version. So many more ways to build a team and win. It also makes football that much more enjoyable to watch. You find yourself paying attention to more things away from the ball. After I started IDP I droppped all but one that wasn't.

Yeah, but it's definitely not for everybody. Personally, I like variety... About half of my leagues are IDP dynasty leagues, and the other half are various types of redraft/keeper leagues (mostly non-IDP).
darin3
The switch in BUF kills. Mario Williams is a top DE, average-at-best-LB. Killer. And Roby to S sucks too. Blah. Edited May 11, 2015 by darin3

I know they talked about playing him some there but he is still a CB. That's where he will still play a lot of ball.

That's where he will still play a lot of ball. Everything comes from Rotoworld. I'm not sure what they put into their decision if it's based off team websites, analysis or assumptions they did post this a couple weeks back New Broncos coach Gary Kubiak is intent on making second-year CB Bradley Roby a near-full-time player. The Broncos have toyed with the idea of using Roby at safety, just to increase his playing time. He was a nickel corner last year behind Aqib Talib and Chris Harris. "It's just us saying, 'Hey, he needs to be out there,'" Kubiak said. "If that's how we get him out there full time, then that's something we're going to address. I don't want to do too much to him where we take something away from him, but at the same time he needs to be a guy playing 70 to 100 percent someway, somehow."
