QB Starter WK1- Tried and True or Risk Reward

Recommended Posts

I am in a 10 person standard league through ESPN. Standard scoring, (QB TD=4 / 25Yds = 1 / RB-WR TD=6 / 10Yds=1 all fumbles/INT=+-2). Can start; 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 Flex, 1 D/ST and 1 K. This is my biggest money full year league I'm in and I got Drew Brees in the seventh round and Sam Bradford with my last pick. Bradford has ooked extreamly effective in Phiily's offense and I think, if he stays healthy, playing in that offense he can be roughly the number 5 or 6 QB when it's all said and done. With Drew Brees ageing and the Saints sending Graham to Seattle for a top teir O-Linemen in Max Unger, they are obviously going to try to be a run first offense, so it may be in my best intrest to play Bradford some of the time. Week 1 Philly has Atlanta in Atlanta, who has a vary poris defense and will probably make the game a complete shoot out, and New Orleans has Arizona at Arizona, who has anything but a poris defense. Who should I start week 1, Sam Bradford vs Atl or Drew Brees vs Arz?

Brees. Not sure why so many people are thinking of starting bradford over stud qbs that are proven in the regular season. I'm debating on whether or not to drop bradford cuz i hate carrying 2 qbs. Brady bye week is week 4 so I'm gonna hold onto bradford for the time being but I don't plan on starting him over my stud qb ever.
