Alfred Morris for Peyton Manning

Recommended Posts

I'm in a standard ESPN league and a guy is considering offering me Peyton Manning for Alfred Morris. For reference my QBs are Ryan Tannehill and Phillip Rivers and my other RBs are Leveon Bell, TJ Yeldon and Reggie Bush. For my flex I'm playing Nelson Agholor but also have Roddy White, Eddie Royal, and Terrance Williams. My starting WRs are Alshon Jeffery and Golden Tate and my TE is Michael Bennett with Tyler Eifert on the bench. Sorry this post is so long this is my first time posting here. Anyway, what do you guys think?

The Manning trend didn't start this year it was the end of the year last year, in the last 8 games (not including playoffs but including this years game 1) he's only thrown 10 td's... not that he can't bounce back but it's the o-line that's been a lot of the problem, he was sacked 4 times yesterday I think it's going to be a long year for the DEN offense until they get things figured out.

I don't believe that is going to be what Peyton Manning's season is going to look like, as he is one the games greatest players ever who still has a lot of weapons around him. They just need some time to sort out the problems they have.

I don't think this is a good trade for your team. Alfred Morris has been a very consistent back in fantasy and your RB's are good but not great without him. He doesn't have a very high ceiling as the Redskins will be behind in a lot of games and not be able to run the ball, however Morris will be a great RB2 regardless.

If you like Manning then I say go for it because you are just deep enough to take this risk, but other than that I'd stick with Morris.

Help me with mine?
