0.5 PPR Keeper Advice

I'm in a 12 team 0.5 PPR keeper league.  We get to keep 3 keepers from year to year.  How it works is that we loose the draft pick of the round from our keeper - so if I drafted Zeke at 1st round last year and I keep him, then I loose my 1st round pick this year.  If you picked someone off of waivers, then you loose your 10th round pick.

Roster

QB - Brady (5th)

QB - Luck (10th)

RB - Lamar Miller (2nd)

RB - Doug Martin (4nd)

RB - Melvin Gordon (7th)

RB - Perine (10th)

WR - Julio Jones (1st)

WR - Brandin Cooks (3rd)

WR - Emmanuel Sanders (4th)

WR - Donte Moncrief (4th)

WR - Robert Woods (10th)

WR - Allen Robinson (10th)

WR - Julian Edelman (10th)

TE - Olsen (10th)

I'm absolutely keeping Gordon for a 7th round pick.  After that, I'm torn between Brady or Luck, Julio, and Olsen.  I like Cooks but I'm not sure about his volume in LA with Woods and Kupp and Gurley getting touches.  Olsen at a 10th round pick seems like massive value for the #3-5 TE in the league.  I'm leaning Gordon, Julio, and Olsen. Thoughts?

Absolutely love Gordon in the 7th

Depending on when your keeper deadline is, I'd keep a close watch on Luck.  Everything I've read so far says he looks good in camp.  I think he has great value as a 10th round pick.

After that it's dicey, I wouldn't want to keep a QB and a TE personally.

Do you know where your draft?  What spot would you lose for Julio?

I'm picking 8th (after assuming people ahead of me will be keeping their 1st round picks, that might turn into #3) so I feel like that's good value for Julio in the 1st considering most people will keep the best 1st round picks (Brown, Zeke, Johnson, Hunt, etc).

So Gordon and Julio, then maybe Luck or Olsen?

Gordon and Olsen, yes. On fence about JJ as 1.8. Would rather take RB1 here if possible

Yea, I'd like an RB1 too.  But I think most people are going to keep their RB1s so I'm not sure any will be available in the first round.  Gurley, Bell, Johnson, Zeke, Kamara, Hunt, Fournette, and Cook are all likely to be kept by their owners.  Barkley will be available but he's going to go on the first or second pick in the first round.

For a one year fix I’d keep Brady, probably 35 tds and 4500 yards, Luck to risky for only three keepers, important rule, don’t try to build a dynasty, win today and deal with next year next year. Gordon for sure, and Julio, he doesn’t get a wack of TDS but great yardage stats. Sorry for the advice, not meaning to know what I’m talking about, but in my 5th pool have won 3 of the last 11 years. Probably a fluke but you never know.

I wouldn't even consider keeping Brady. QB's are way too deep, and the value of a 5th rd WR/RB is much higher than Brady. I probably wouldn't keep Julio at 1.8 either.  Its not a horrible pick, but the value simply isn't there, especially if it means you get to keep your 1st rd pick. Consider this, you may be able to give up Julio and then draft him or another stud WR/RB at the 1.8.   If it is me, I'm keeping Gordon and Olsen only.

Yea I'm leaning this way re: Brady. QB is just too deep, while solid TEs are pretty rare.

Who did you end up keeping?  I would have kept Gordon and Julio for sure.  Luck and Olsen are kind of a coin flip.
