Shorttynaz
Knowing my league mates as I've played with them in this league for 18 years now.. I have the #8 pick.. I know they say go with your gut and my guy says "Man, I hope Dalvin Cook is there at pick #13 in round 2 when it comes back to me." I know he won't be - the two guys who draft behind me are RB whores and they will take Gordon/Fournette/Barkley/Hunt with those 4 picks inbetween mine. Would you take Dalvin Cook with the #8 pick in a 10 team PPR? I have a feeling this guy will be if not the top fantasy RB, he will definitely be top 3 pending his health. Vikings are scary good, they have a great defense, and they just added a precision passer in whom only elevates their passing game. I look at Cook as a Fournette type player last year. Bell cow who is called upon to control the game in the 2nd half as their team will likely be up and controlling the clock. I'm leaning towards pulling the trigger and following up my round 2 pick with any of the other above 4 RB's should one of them somehow someway fall to me on the turn. If not, I'll go with OBJ in the 2nd. I'm projecting these players going before my pick: T Gurley L Bell D Johnson A Brown E Elliott A Kamara D Hopkins

hockeyatd83
I'd suggest taking the next top RB who you think might be there after your list...I like Hunt, Gordon, Fournette, Cook (in that order). Then on your 2nd pick, you'll be looking a one of those OR taking Odell/Julio.
Montana is da Man
That's an interesting question. If you really feel that he is going to be a top 3 RB this season, then yes you take him at #8. He worries me. I have the #8 pick in a 10 team PPR as well, I'm going to take whichever of the top 8 guys is waiting for me (Bell, DJ, Zeke, Gurley, Antonio, Kamara, Barkley or Hopkins.) I am confident that for pick 13 I will get either Hunt, Gordon, or Cook. Worse case scenario is Fournette

Worse case scenario is Fournette 1 I am very intrigued with Hopkins, but I feel that I need to go RB/RB only cause I've been stuck with studly WR teams, but my lack of RB's kills me. You like Barkley over the rest? Dunno why I've waited so long to look into this stuff for real. Just did a few best ball drafts but you draft differently there. I am swaying my own decision towards Barkley. He's young, decent offense in a division that plays the Cowboys and Redskins weakass defenses 4 times a year. If durability holds up, he could be a stud. I'm really leaning that way and then just taking whoever falls to me in round 2. Hopefully Cook falls to me there.. If not, no regrets. I just have a really good feeling about Cook this year. Studly offense and defense will keep opposing teams from running up the score.

Unfortunately for me, there are a bunch of Giants fans in my league so he'll likely get picked before #8.
