shawn119
So I'm fairly new to serious fantasy football and can use help. I'm in a standard league. The running backs get 6 per td, 1 per 20 yds, 1 per 10 carries, and 2 for a 40+ yd td. My RB1 is Gurley. My other 3 RB are Jay Ajayi, Mark Ingram, and James Conner. Because of the way the league is run I can only keep 2 (12 team league with 14 players per team and 3 RB per team). Gurley is a given of course, but of the other 3 which 2 should I keep for the season?
Dead Money
How were you able to acquire 4rb if you can only keep 3??? Tough question, Ajayi is the starter in philly and is an every week player. Ingram is suspended for 4 weeks so I would probably keep Connor as he is the starter now for Pitt. Who knows how long Bell will sit out, but my guess is that you won't see him til week 10. You could try and trade Connor to the Bell owner and see if you could upgrade another position. With only 36 RB on teams there will always be someone to pick up.
shawn119
Sorry I didn't go into great detail to keep the post shorter hehe. We have an IR slot, but you can only use it for 2 weeks max then you have to release somebody. I was worried about Ajayi's foot and wanted to jump on Conner before anybody else did. So I picked up Conner and IR'd Ajayi (mistakes were made, at least for 1 game). My lineup for week 1 is QB Mariota RB Gurley/Conner WR D. Adams/JuJu Smith-Schuster TE Da Gronk Def Chargers K Matt Bryant I have Wentz on the bench for when he gets healthy, and of course Ingram when he gets back from suspension. I have Golden Tate as my WR on the bench, OJ Howard at TE, Steelers D, and Houston kicker w/ a manurety name We have a rigid bench with only 1 bench person per position. Ootter
Drop Conner. If you need to. Gurely and Ajayi get you through Ingram suspension. How long can you wait. There is a good chance Bell report tomorrow. If he doesn't then good chance he no shows for a few weeks.
Dead Money
Get rid of Ingram. If bell stays out Connor is going to get the carries. When Ingram suspension is over the best he can do is split with Kamara

Ingram may split but he is still a power house. Steelers will have a commitee as well. For some reason people forgot the other backs exist. James is unproven and hasn't shown any extra special as of yet.
Montana is da Man
Play it by ear. If Bell is still holding out, drop Ingram
