Fournette - Any update on his condition?

Fournette said himself it's not a big deal.  He wanted to come back into the game the other day.  His coach said if this were a playoff game he would have let him back in, but since it's week 1 he held him out for precautionary reasons.

Purely speculation on my part but I think he's fine.  I think anyone spending $$ on Yeldon is nuts (not that you asked).

If I was the Fournette owner I'd be throwing out a claim for a few bucks, but nothing big. I saw someone pay 30% for Yeldon this week, and they don't own Fournette.

I am the Fournette owner and I have/had 0 interest in Yeldon.  #1 cause Fournette is fine, and #2 even if he weren't, there are better options on other teams compared to what TJ Yeldon will do in JAX if he were the starter.

Depends on the league for me. In a 12 team standard there isn't much at RB that is worth grabbing and a lot of the times people just go after anyone with the potential for double digit touches. I do agree with your assessment though. Even with Fournette out there is likely someone else on your roster that's a better start.

12 team league, we start 9 (2RB no flex) and have 9 bench spots, RB options are pretty slim pickens.

I see that Fournette is being held out of practice today, but it doesn't sound like anything serious just giving him some rest.

Gonna be honest, was very worried about reports he was out for 6 weeks that came out later on Sunday. Glad they weren't true.

Where did you hear this on Sunday? All I heard was that he could have come back in the game, but was held out for precautionary reasons.

BTW: I'm sure glad i didn't hear this on Sunday!:pullhair:

Fournette is likely out.  I like this as a Corey Grant owner in several leagues.  I get a small preview if Grant will be involved much.

Leonard Fournette unlikely to play Sunday

http://www.rotoworld.com/headlines/nfl/380286/leonard-fournette-unlikely-to-play-sunday?ls=roto:JAC:topheadlines

Florida Football Insiders' Roy Cummings doesn't expect Leonard Fournette (questionable, hamstring) to play in Sunday's game with the Patriots.

The Jaguars tipped Fournette's status by promoting RB Brandon Wilds from the practice squad. Fournette didn't practice all week and is trending toward missing Jacksonville's AFC title rematch. T.J. Yeldon is in line to start and has a favorable matchup against a Patriots defense that allowed 167 rush yards to the Texans. Corey Grant should also push for touches in a change-of-pace role.

with fournette out im thinking going yeldon over freeman....anyone have any thoughts?

i think yeldon is a good bet to do at least something in the passing game......i still like freeman and hate to put him on the bench...i think he could break out at any moment...but i could see yeldon catching 4-5 passes and getting in the endzone

I think den has a 3 headed monster for the short term,  I'd stay away until a leader shows up.  Booker lindsay and Freeman each had 19 -26-29 snaps respectivly

yeahhhh....i think its really a two headed though...i think booker is going to see his snap count dwindle.....even in the snaps he had how many touches? the other two guys actually saw the football when they were in there
