This is the first time i ever play fantasy football.  my friends know this and they are cut throat.  someone has made me an offer to trade

me: Julio Jones for

Davante Adams
Marlon Mack
Phillip Lindsay

I turned him down then he countered with Davante Adams and Lamar Miller for Julio Jones.

My current running backs are Jay Ajayi and Kareem Hunt and bench RB are Frank Gore,  TJ Yeldon and Aaron Jones

My current receivers are Julio Jones, Emmanuel Sanders and Tyler Lockett (flex) and bench is Danny Amendola

Julio Jones is one of my better players and am hesitant to trade him but I need help in the RB area.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Manny

OK, thanks for the advice.  I'm going to bench Jay Ajayi for Aaron Jones and pass on trading Julio Jones.  Like I said, I am a rookie at this and am now learning the players.  How can I tell if a player is a starter or a backup?

You're on The Huddle, dude.

Usual rule of thumb is don't trade a 1st round talent unless you are getting a first round talent back..   Rarely do 3 for 1 offers benefit the team getting the 3..   Mostly a fantasy trade (non-draft pick / keeper situation) is the team who gets the best player wins the trade unless the 1st & 2nd best are pretty close...

They are just general rules to keep in mind
