ClayMC
Through some very fortunate drafting and even more fortunate trading, I've assembled maybe my best fantasy football team ever. If there is a weakness, it's at RB2. Ordinarily, I'd be perfectly fine with Howard as a RB2, but i see him as the last piece that would keep me from having a team that is just ridiculously over the top. I might be able to convince Zeke Elliot's owner to trade, but will it deplete my RB depth too much? I send: Howard, Thompson, 3rd inconsequential piece I receive: Elliot 12-team PPR QB: Brees WR: Hopkins, Jones, Landry (Edelman, Callaway) RB: Kamara, Howard (Thompson, Ingram, Lindsay, Allen) TE: Gronk
League_Champion
Has this been offered to you? Because I don't see why in the world he would do that. You'd have to give me a much better package to part with Zeke.

You'd have to give me a much better package to part with Zeke. It hasn’t been offered to me, but I think I might be able to sell it. His only other RBs are Collins and Cohen. He’s already struggling at RB2 (he hates Collins), and with bye weeks coming up, I think he’ll be even more interested in upgrading. Zeke to Howard is going to cost him on average maybe 3-4 points a week, but the upgrade at RB2 will probably offset, and I can sweeten the deal with adding another fairly inconsequential piece or 2. As silly as it sounds, my defense might carry a little weight in a deal. He hates streaming defenses, and it just so happens that my defense and his current defense combine to have nothing but top-8 match-ups for the next 5-6 weeks. If I frame it correctly, I’m fairly confident I can get him interested.
ClayMC
Maybe I’m just way to bullish on Thompson.
League_Champion
If you can get that done then do it in a second. I just don't know why he would do that. Zeke puts up better numbers than all them combined

League_Champion
c'mon. Thomas is a spot flex at best and Howard is barely startable of late. Zeke is a reliable start every single week. You can't compare. If you think otherwise go try to get that deal done and let me know how you make out.
ClayMC
Jordan Howard. Top-15 RB (being conservative) Jordan Howard. He’s barely startable in a 12-team league?

But if it was me there's no way I would accept that deal under any circumstance in any league. seahawk3133
If I am dealing Elliott & taking a downgrade on my RB even if to Howard - I'm going to want a huge WR upgrade with it... Thompson would only be of interest if as a 3rd piece (and I threw back my 1st WR off the bench)

A WR1 or RB1
ClayMC
I get where you are coming from, and I understand I’m going to fall victim to owners bias as well, but if you as a Zeke owner requested Howard, Thompson, and a “huge” WR upgrade from me, I’d fall on the floor laughing.
