The team getting 3 players had an empty roster apot at the time of the trade and wasnt prompted to drop a player. During the 2 day waiting period he added players and when the trade processed he didnt have roster spots available. He said for you to tell the owner to makes the necessary drops to allow the trade to happen. You are making it this more complicated than it needs to be. I agree, the guy needs to drop players or his incoming players should go to the waiver wire. His choice..before kickoff of the first game on Sunday. stevegrab Posted October 14, 2018 Share Posted October 14, 2018 We allow a 2-1 trade, after the trade is approved and processed, and before that week's first game (or maybe Sunday), the team getting more players than traded must drop a player to get back to the roster limit.
