Would you bet Melvin Gordon plays or sits?

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports it will be "challenging" for Melvin Gordon (knee) to play Thursday night against the Chiefs.

Schefter says the Chargers will not make their final decision until pre-game warmups, but it sounds like Gordon is on the wrong side of questionable. If he sits, Justin Jackson will be a top-15 fantasy runner in a great matchup against the Chiefs. Dec 13 - 9:18 AM

Following up on John's post....

Melvin Gordon (knee) is expected to be inactive for Thursday night's game against the Chiefs.

Gordon tested out his ankle in pre-game warmups but indicated to NFL Network's Omar Ruiz he did not get the news he was looking for. Official word will come down in 40-45 minutes. Justin Jackson is a high-end, plug-and-play RB2. Dec 13 - 6:11 PM

And not sure why it says ankle... it's his knee.  But still...

It scares me starting Damien Williams and Justin Jackson tonight, if they both put up awful stats I am putting myself behind by a lot. However, I can't wait around this weekend to see if Conner or Kerryon play.

I would be starting Williams and Jackson tonight in your case.  Easily.

Yeah, I just hate starting so many people early.  I have two tonight and one playing on Saturday.  If those three players stink it up I am pretty much guaranteed a loss before the games begin on Sunday.
