With the 1st pick in the 3rd round, the Arizona Cardinals select Brian Burns, OLB from Florida St.

and @GREENBEAN is up (PM me after you pick, please!)

Sorry, I did a search in the Google Doc and it said he was not taken.  :shrug:

We'll go with the next best EDGE, Germaine Pratt, OLB from NC State

With the 77th pick of the draft, the Carolina Panthers select Darnell Savage, S, Maryland

Savage is another one of those interchangeable safeties who can stop the run and play center field.  Savage was a leader on his highly troubled team during tough times and had an excellent season in 2018.

More defense for Atlanta.  Atlanta dashes to the podium to hand in the card for Justin Layne, CB, Michigan State.  He's slated to be a 2d round pick but slipped through here probably because of the outdated rankings on the spreadsheet.  Athletic tall corner. Converted WR with excellent press and ball skills. Amazing get in round 3 in a position up for grabs across from Trufant.

@GREENBEAN continues his streak of his #1 pick for each team being right there for him.  He wants the Browns to go tall CB also.  So with pick #80, Cleveland selects Trayvon Mullen, CB, Clemson.  And we have an official 3rd round CB run.

@Big John VIkings OTC

With the 82nd overall pick in #TheHuddle 2019 Mock Draft, your Tennessee Titans select, Mack Wilson, LB, Alabama

He is today's version of an NFL linebacker with adequate size, plus strength and toughness, speed pursue and an ability to handle coverage duties on any down. Wilson is like a classically trained musician who hits his notes on time, but the question is whether or not he can play as a free-form, improvisational talent when the opportunity arises. Either way, he's a solid, three-down starter in any defensive scheme.
