Rest of Season Team/Trade Question (Thomas, RB Situation)

I will drop to 1-4* this week. Lost by 61 points. 6th on waivers. Proble, is not just records, I have scored a high of 116 in 5 weeks. I have to have a better record than the 9 and 10 Teams to make playoffs.

After tonight these are the standings in our league, give or take. 4-1 team could be 3-2, 2-3 could be 3-2, but the bottom five are guaranteed records regardless.

Team 1 4-1

Team 2 4-1

Team 3 4-1

Team 4 3-2 (2-3 if Allen scores less than 15)

Team 5 3-2

Team 6 2-3

Team 7 2-3

Team 8 2-3

Team 9 1-4* (me)

Team 10 0-5 (possibly 1-4 if Keenan Allen scores less than 15)

Roster (Week 6 starters in bold):

QB Watson

RB: Johnson, Mattison, Gibson, Bell, Kelley, Jackson, Harris, McKinnon

WR: Thomas, Godwin, Woods, Parker

TE: Engram

My questions:

1. How the heck do I fix this!

I have approached 6 teams about trades and have zero takers. Nobody giving up RBs.

The best deal I can swing is probably Michael Thomas for Slayton/ROJO. I may be able to land Golladay instead if I can throw in a RB for depth. Owner has Gordon/A Jones as well as Lindsay/Williams, so they are set at RB with backups and byes behind them. Also has Mike Davis. Owner is my wife, LOL, but I am not worried about collusion because I have literally had 6 Thomas trades rejected so they had their chances.

2. Would you even bother trading Thomas at this point, or am I just going to have to stay the course and ride it out.

3. I may be able to upgrade TE to Henry by trading a low end RB. Owner has Mixon and Montgomery with Eckeler out.

Owner has two good tight ends, thought she might take RB or 2 for Henry.

Throw a trade out to every team.   Trade Thomas for a solid wr and rb to improve your starting lineup

Would you gamble on Deandre Swift being something? Owner has CEH, Singletary, Swift, and Chubb and is STACKED at WR (Evans, Cooper, Ridley, McLaurin, Ruggs) and is 4-1.

Thought about Thomas/Gibson for Singletary/Swift and a WR.

Do you give up DJ if getting Singletary AND Swift?

I dunno, thanks for the input as always. I am frustrated.

I'm not a believer in swift because he is a lions rb.   They have never proven to know how to use rbs.

If you can get Allen Robinson and Todd Gurley or David Montgomery for Thomas and Bell that would help. Something in that range.

Good points.

A Rob owner has Kamara, Hunt, Drake, Fournette

Monty owner has Mixon, Schuster, Ekeler, and that's it. Hunter Henry though.

Focus on A-Rob owner. You need guys who touch the ball and TE's are not a lock except Kelce, Kittle and Andrew's.

Try this trade option first Thomas/Bell for A-Rob and Drake.
