CEH Thoughts

Now that bell has signed with KC what does everyone think of CEH. I think I’m gonna wait and see approach because I do not see KC just putting there First round pick on bench. I can see bell as change of pace and playing in 2 back sets. What’s everyone else thought? Try to trade him now? Or wait and see approach

I'm a CEH owner and I am definitely shopping him, although doubt anyone will give much to get him now.  Experts are saying because of CEH struggled in the red zone and with his YPC since week 1, they will likely give bell early down and goal line work, and bring CEH in for COP.  I would say CEH has this week to prove he deserves the 1a, if he struggles against buffalo it will likely be Bell as 1a.

I kind of think Bell could help CEH value. Bc if there both on the field at same time defense will probably pay a lot of attention to bell and everyone else on field could open up holes for CEH. Bc bell is still a dynamic pass catcher and runner but just has been playing in a terrible Jets offense

I think cleveland is the best analogy.  Each running back is a top 5 ish alone but together they lose that high end appeal and become top 15 ish.  I feel the same here.  I still think CEH will finish in the top 20 but his chances of a top 5 or even 10 finish are gone.

It's a wait and see approach.  Half the time I see the chiefs playing CEH isn't on the field.  He isnt used in a 2 minute drill.

Fantasy aside I’m a chiefs fan and he’s always on the field but 3rd downs Williams comes in to give him rest Bc CEH has one of the highest volumes of RBs in LG with rushes and targets

Maybe I'm wrong.  I watched their last game and saw williams out there too often for my liking

Which would seem to me shows that his performance so far has been a bit underwhelming. Getting that much volume in an offense that forces defenses to be honest and not looking all that spectacular.  Maybe they're looking for bell to bring the veteran presence

They have also had a lot Of O Line problems but he’s had at least 85 scrimmage yards in every game it’s just TDs haven’t been there yet but I think they will Come

He hasn’t had less than 10 fantasy points in any game this year

I think my point I was trying to make was not very clear as my comment kind of got sidetracked from the original topic of your post.  I think the guy is real life talented but I don't think he has lived up to his early to mid first round pick even with all his volume. I can't imagine he's going to do better in fantasy with bell. I don't think he's going to be a handcuff and he will eat into CEH's 80% share of kcs rb touches. How significantly I dunno. Maybe like hunt and Chubb as others have said

From listening to various fantasy talk shows about the Bell/CEH situation they all believe this is bad for CEH and good for Bell.  They expect Bell to get all the goal line work and if Bell is anything like he was in PIT (maybe he just didn't fit with NYJ) he will eventually also eat a lot of passing down work in KC.  I have neither in my league so it's not emotional for me.  But I do expect CEH to be considered more like RB 20 now with Bell there.
