Week 7 BYE conundrum; Please help.

Current team is in sig

12 team league; .5 ppr

Limited 4 player bench

With NFL league-wide rescheduling due to COVID, I now find that I have more players on a week 7 BYE than I had planned for (BAL (2), MIN (3) ).

THE ISSUE: limited 4 player bench and I will have 5 BYE spots to fill.

I can fill all but 2 spots; QB and WR.

THIS WEEK I'm a projected favorite by 26 points and I'm currently 2nd place at 4-1.

THE QUESTION TO YOU: would you consider dropping MIA def now (who plays NYJ wk 6) and pick up a DEF, WR, or QB now that has a favorable match-up in week 7

QB options:

Dalton against WAS

Stafford against ATL

Minshew against LAC

Burrow against CLE

Wentz against NYG

WR options:

Tee Higgins against CLE (on waivers right now, might not get him)

Cole Beasley against NYJ

Shenault Jr. against LAC

Marvin Jones Jr. against ATL

DEF options:

Kansas City against DEN

Dallas against WAS

Philadelphia against NYG

Chargers against JAX

Id likely play for the win this week and chalk up week 7 as a loss.  You put yourself at risk both weeks in you have an open spot this week and then drop players for week 7 not knowing what will change between now and then

I agree. You are in a good spot where you are and can afford to take a loss. Don't weaken your team just to fill a spot for one week.
