BillyBalata
I hate stat corrections https://www.facebook.com/usatodayftw/posts/1945322672282592
purplemonster
I get a little concerned when I hear about huge sums being wagered and the peons in charge getting paid 40k to make decisions like this. Would seem to invite problems. I am waiting for a fixing scandal to come out.
darin3
DraftKings and the NFL are connected... I'm sure there were shenanigans here. Also, a late tackle by Rams safety John Johnson gave me a 1.25-point win in one of my leagues... but by the next morning, it appears they took away either one of his previous assisted tackles or a pass breakup because I had officially lost by 0.25. What a kick in the balls.
League_Champion
Poor guy is probably drunk, passed out in a gutter wallowing in his 1 point loss.
stevegrab
Did somebody else win the $1 million prize instead of this guy? If so and there was a fix or shenanigans they did so in order to screw this guy and give the big money to somebody else? Official scoring is what it is, some person is paid peanuts to do that job and we're all potentially impacted by that one odd stat correction. As for a fixing scandal in these high stakes leagues it won't be over some stat correction (that is not in their power, unless they create and edit their own stats and ignore actual NFL stats). 40Rocket
Watch that play. And tell me how that is not a sack?? I'm confused.
stevegrab
I agree it looks like a sack, but that doesn't change how it was scored. Like many things in sports there is a human judgement involved. I'd hate to lose a fantasy game on that, even though it would be just a couple hundred dollars.
