Jordan Howard signed to Eagles' practice squad

I don't consider myself a Jordan Howard expert but if I recall he didn't exactly have a blistering 40 speed and he seemed like a lug who kind of got it done with just enough speed and quickness. But with time and maybe some injuries I don't think it would take much for him to not be terribly effective

 

Maybe not quite the same but Todd Gurley used to be all-world and now he's barely managing on TD production alone.

 

It seems like the margin between great and average is pretty slight esp at RB and any decrement in skills can bring most players into the average column.

You're absolutely correct, he's slow as dirt but he was always a smart back who could read his blocks. He was tough as hell to. I really liked him a lot.
