FinishTheDrill
1/2PPR, in 7th or 8th place, and squaring up against a legit top 3 in the league for week 12. I have most of these worked out already, but why not hit this advice column early and see what the brain trust can come up with. I especially like "great matchup/terrible matchup" type advice, but in the interest of ad revenue for the site owner, any response is apprecaited. QB- CamN, Derek Carr, BenR WR (pick 2)- Cal Ridley, AJBrown, TeeHigs, BCooks, JokekobiM, MikeWilliams RB (pick 2) - ChrisCarson(?), JConner, Ballage, McKissic, CEdmonds Flex (one, no QB) TE/K/DST I am all set, not changing them, not carrying extra options in order to carry the extra bodies listed above. Random thoughts and Considerations: Carson foot, Higgins lost Burrows, Jokeobi scary low targets week 11, edmonds /Drake is back (may be a good thing), AJbrown has been tempermental, Ballage didnt blow the doors off of the Jets like I predicted... Rbrown
For Week 12, Carr has a great matchup. Taysom Hill just had a good game against them, and Raider D isn't as good as Nola D. I don't trust Cam, and Big Ben (who I have rostered) has touch matchup vs Ravens D. Carr WR: Ridley (especially if Julio is banged up/hurt, plus great matchup vs LV) and Williams. Chargers have no run offense now and Herbert is going to throw it 40+ times per game, only down side it it's IN Buffalo. I like Higgins, but with Burrow and Mixon out, I'm targeting Defense against Cincy. Cooks is too hot/cold for me. Brown is a safe play. Meyers.. nah, Pats scheme is too inconsistent for me. RB: Carson (if he's in/active) and Conner. Conner does have tough matchup so McKissic is a viable option in your 1/2 PPR league vs bad Cowboy D. Edmonds is decent, but with Drake back, too hard to know the workload for either. Flex: If you start Conner at RB, I'd go McKissic. Yeah... Conner and McK for RB and Flex. If Carson is out and you have to start Conner and McK at RB, i'd play Brown at Flex
FinishTheDrill
^ good stuff. I like your analysis. Interesting take on Williams/Chargers. Ultimately, one of these guys has to get dropped to activate Carson off IR. May be Jokekobi...

FinishTheDrill
I have decided on WR- Ridley & Cooks Flex- AJ Brown Still deciding on 2 out of these 3: Carson & touches. His first week back. He's a tank, but will he share time or will he get the touches he needs with his grind on the ground style? Conner & touches. He's be declining in this regard. Big Ben has been throw happy. vs Balt, will this continue? Bens thigh a contributing factor, going to lean on run more? Ballage- Is Ekeler back yet? If not, I think he's still the only guy running the fb in a chargers uniform. Should see lots of touches, plus some of the passing game. He's not the back the others are, but he may well get the ball in his hand a lot more.
