Poor Form to Make Waiver Claims When Eliminated?

2-9. Not mathematically eliminated but would have to win out, have someone else lose out, and I would need to outscore them by about 400 last two games. So done.

Two games left, team once again injury ridden. Need to drop 4 players and add four.

Is it bad to make waiver claims Wednesday to help my team over last 2 regular games, plus 3 consolation, or is it better form to wait til waivers clear for playoff teams then pick up scraps after?

Other people are trying to make the playoffs or get a higher seed and would love for you to put out the best lineup you can to possibly to help them.

Keep trying and if someone gets mad then sucks to be them.

Keep playing, that's what's fair. Whoever you're playing the rest of the regular season, they shouldn't have an easier road to the playoffs jsut because you're all but eliminated.

If this is a yearly league that you all play, here's what we did to keep non-playoff teams interested/playing regardless of getting into the playoffs.

Teams that miss playoffs are to keep playing (top six make playoffs), the team that finishes with best record of non-playoff teams (7th place after championship week) gets the first pick in next year's draft. 8th place gets 2nd pick, and so on. So, there's not incentive to tank or quit playing just so you can finish in last place and get 1st pick the following season.
