I know nothing of the case but someone who asks for 100k up front with no police reports smells of BS to me.  Sounds like extortion "I will ruin your multimillion dollar career unless you give me money".  There are a lot of people looking for an easy pay day out there and they hurt legitimate claimants.

weird. any time any politician starts to become popular, you can almost bet money at some point, some sexual allegations pop up out of no where. I certainly don't mean to down play any type of those allegations. But has Watson ever had any questions about his character?  what we know about the Texans ownership...does this sound shady to anyone?  just sayin....

Sad but true. Nope, there's never been a bad word uttered about Watson. Even going back to his Gainesville, GA High School days and Clemson thereafter. I follow Clemson closely and he's always been highly respected.

This story just seems absurd on so many levels. I'm pretty sure that Deshaun has enough money to hire an escort that will do whatever he wanted and not talk. And if this really did happen why wouldn't he already have thrown a few dollars at her to go away and shut up? That's all she wants anyway, much like the escort would.

Definitely a few more details than I needed but ok.  If true, it sounds like Deshaun got a little pervy in his massages.  It would meet the criteria for sexual assault I am sure, it also is unfortunately something more than a few massage therapists have had experience with.  This is complicated by the fact there is a healthy massage therapist industry which caters to this sort of thing, e.g. Kraft, and this psycho in Atlanta who just got arrested. When a very rich NFL player contacts you on instagram and flies you out to his location for a massage, I am not sure that is a normal arrangement.  The chances of an NFL player wanting something are high. That still makes him wrong because you need willing parties at all times, and that is not consent, but it should make anyone's alarm bells go off.  Brett Favre got into an issue with this too, didn't he.  Sending pictures of his unit with his crocs on.  Sheesh.

From what I've seen every lawsuit is filed by the same attorney, and each one that becomes public has more juicy details than the last. And still not a single word about any criminal charges for events that happened very recently, just civil suits. But its not about the money. Maybe its all true, maybe its just a scheme by somebody to make Watson look bad (make his price lower to acquire in a trade, or make him untouchable so he stays in HOU). 

 

This isn't going to end well for one or more parties. And if these are all fabricated lies to get rich or impact Watson's trade, its just another case that real assault victims need to consider when coming forward about something.

Oh I am sure he does want to release embarrassing details, that only helps the potential payout.

Still confusing to me how you prove Amy of this stuff, he is already naked on a table and turning and having his unit touch her....not sure how you prove that either way.  I presume no video, they can look at texts but without some explicit admission would be hard to prove, other people claiming things adda to it but also not foolproof.

With him naked on the table it's really hard to prove if she brushed against him, or he moved to create a situation where her hand touches him.  IF he sent a text apologizing for what happened I think it shows a guilty conscience (although doesn't mean anything illegal happened) "I'm sorry you felt that way..." it may leave the door open enough that with others coming forward questions about his behavior and intent become necessary.
