Not too early.

Pitts, please elude the NE defense. He definitely looks like a rookie TE tonight.

There was no way in hell that the Patriots' defense was gonna let the only weapon that matters on Atlanta to beat them badly in this game. They're shutting this kid down as expected and honestly, it has nothing to do with him being a rookie.

Good thing I also played the NE defense

Defensive scoring has been a topic of interest for me lately, so seeing 24 points scored in my league was impressive and way above average. l decided to check my league for more accurate info, and see the best defenses score 8-10 points on average. Pats are now #1 with 9.91 per game, up form 8.5 last week, next 4 are BUF-9.8 DAL-8.3 NO-8.1 TEN-8.1  The Falcons are dead last at 3.9.  I started the season with the Ravens defense and dropped them after they didn't do much, they're in the bottom 6 at 4.8

That's just a 6 points spread from best to worst scoring defense. Its significant, but I bet the difference is much higher across the top 32 QB/RB/WR. Having a good defense can help, but hard to predict, not as consistent, and the difference not nearly as high as other positions. A quick look at QBs, there is a 6 point drop in average from 1st to 10th (Brady 24.5 to Cousins at 18.5).

Depends on settings. Ours in Yahoo allows points for returned yards, which can really add up for teams that attempt to return vs just take the fair catch.

NE got me 33.7 points
