That was an ugly game no doubt, at least the 2nd half. I would have definitely liked to see some cleaner football. It's not great to have a ton of weird penalties and many of them mental errors or procedural issues. I think the team that played better won though. The fans were mad at the refs because Dak didn't hand them the ball instead of giving it to the center and because they didn't just give the Cowboys extra time cause they needed it. I sort of forgot this about McCarthy but what stood out is his defensiveness again. He spent the time in that presser trying to say why he was right when the call didn't work out. So almost by definition, it wasn't right. You can blame the refs all you want, and I think it could have been done better by the refs, but that's what you get sometimes when you cut it that close. They had a couple nice wins but for the most part they beat up on inferior competition. They definitely benefited from being in the NFC Least. Absolutely their o line is old and overrated aside from martin mccarthy absolutely has to go. Every game we have 10 plus penalties. It’s just ridiculous Dak can throw for 80 tds a year and I’ll still tell you he isn’t the answer. He’s decent at best . He misses wide open guys all year running game is non existent when Dak tucked and ran on that final play I just couldn’t believe what I was watching. You’re at the 40 yard line. You probably could have taken two cracks at the end zone. It was zero football awareness. Just laughable we are who I thought we were. A crappy team that is better than the crappy teams in our division. After the first drive , I knew that game was over. When he started running I figured he'd make a b-line for the sideline but he kept going!! I have no idea what the hell he was thinking, that's all on Dak.
