So was Ray Lewis.

Exactly, that dude was a cold- blooded killer and he's a HOFer.

lack of mentor?

NFL needs to pay former players to be life coaches or counselors or whatever to these guys to offer an ear, guidance, reminders. Some former players didn't make enough to retire and need to work. Being a paid mentor will give some of them more income than any other job their qualified for, so it's a win-win-win.

Like Chris Carter told a room full of Rookies back in the day. You need a fall guy.

I recall seeing Cris give that talk to some NFL rookies and many of them were just laughing and not taking it seriously. Even a player 5-10 years old would probably be treated like an outsider. I doubt most of these guys who have a high potential for this kind of trouble want to listen to anybody about how to act.

According to the report that BJ posted, Joseph was a passenger in the car where shots were fired at the person who was killed. Does that happen often, you're driving with some friends and they start shooting at others?  Must be for him since he didn't seem to consider going to police to tell them what he knows until they sought him out as a "person of interest". Keep in mind, the news report posted about police wanting to talk to him came nearly a month, not just a few days after the shooting.

Well at least he was willing to rollover on his criminal buddies, probably lost some street cred for that.

I hate when that happens. Happened to me just the other day as I was leaving the grocery store. Those silly thugs rolled right up on me, I didn't even see them. 😊

I would have said Dairy Queen but sure.
